My Background
I was always drawn to art and the way it adds color and perspective to life every day. I got my first sketch pad when I was a little girl and started with still life drawings. It didn’t take long for me to pick up a paintbrush and learn to love and appreciate the gift of expression through art. My family has always been creative, using their hands to bring their passions to life. I've been blessed to be able to do the same.
My Mediums
I‘m a mixed media kind of artist. During my creative process, my mind often changes direction over and over. I go wherever my inspiration takes me. Sometimes that could depend on the music I’m listening to, which sets up the vibe, or just the kind of day I’m having. I’ve used many different mediums; such as acrylics, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal and more. Each idea manifests into its own individual style.
